Contributions to Workshops

The organising committee would welcome prepared contributions to the workshops (see Registration Form).  The workshop topics are intended to be wide enough to cover most likely subjects. A few suggestions on subject areas are as follow

Education Policy

• Centralisation v de-centralisation
• The role and regulation of private universities.

Twinning and Collaboration

• The implications of twinning for the institutions involved
• The creation and forms of joint university programmes in particular subjects.
• Exchange schemes for academic and support staff and for students
• Establishments of extensions of overseas universities in Iraq by partnerships with Iraqi institutions.
