 NAME: NIGEL BRADLEY

 Nigel Bradley is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Westminster and a Freelance Marketing Research Consultant. He has worked and studied in the UK, France and Italy. He has several teaching areas and research interests.

 Teaching Areas include Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, Marketing Management, Digital Age Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Promotional Management and Management Research Methods.

 Research Interests include: Green Marketing (consideration of the environment and society); Internet Marketing (e-commerce and research); Media Research (for Radio, Press, etc) and Graphology (handwriting analysis).

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

1996 to present Senior Lecturer in Marketing, University of Westminster,

Freelance Marketing Research Consultant on various projects (eg RAJAR, NRS etc.).

 Also freelance trainer  and examiner.

1989 - 1996 Senior Group Head - Research Services Ltd. (RSL) Maintained substantial turnover in different units; secured significant new projects and clients; implemented systems to increase productivity and reduce costs. International co-ordination and industrial projects. Daily responsibility for the National Readership Survey (NRS) and the British Businessman Readership Survey (BMRC). Internal auditor for ISO 9000, Training Committee.

1986 - 1989 Senior Research Executive, then Associate Director BJM Research and Consultancy. Built profitable Agricultural Research Unit with colleague. Qualitative and Quantitative studies.

1986 Freelance work. Various assignments. Qualitative interviewing.

1985 - 1986 OEM Product Manager, Tecnicam Srl, Italy. Liaison and negotiation with other manufacturers and clients of this Packaging Machinery producer.

1983 - 1985 Research Executive, Burke Research Services Group Ltd. Agricultural and Industrial Division.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

Supervision of student research at undergraduate, Masters and Doctorate levels.

Guest lectures on various Masters Courses at the University of Westminster and elsewhere.

Visiting Lecturer to other institutions (University of London, Queen Mary; Cambridge Marketing Colleges; London School of Business and Finance; Euromed Marseille; Middlesex, Southbank, Stanmore etc. )

Speaker & trainer for trade bodies (e.g. MRS, CIM, SRA)

OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS/EXPERIENCE:   

De-Marketing is an on-going interest. In 1989 I was the first person to use the term "Green Marketing Mix". Internet devices and their use for marketing are of major interest. These include web analytics, robot translation software, CAWI questionnaire forms, analysis, autoresponders, email marketing tools etc.
