Christine Adams is a senior lecturer in the Department of Diplomacy and Applied Languages, course leader for the MA in Conference Interpreting Techniques and a freelance conference interpreter who trained at the Geneva Interpreting School, at the University of Geneva.
 
She has previously worked as an interpreter for the USA's Department of State, and has been involved in several publications as either a translator or editor, including the Larousse bilingual French/English Dictionary (1990). Christine works regularly in Geneva for organisations including the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation.
