Changing or Leaving your Course

 

Thinking of changing or leaving your course?

 

Whatever your reasons for reading this, it is likely you are facing some difficult decisions. This maybe a stressful or unhappy time but it is important not to rush any decision until you have considered your options.

Whether you are thinking about taking a break from study; considering an alternative course or leaving the University altogether, it's important not to rush a decision and there is plenty of help at hand to assist and guide you.

  • Seek support from friends, family and fellow students, you'll be surprised how many people have been in a similar situation.

  • It is vital that you discuss your plans about changing, suspending or withdrawal from a course with your tutor. If you are not sure who your tutor is, check with your school senior tutor.

 

  • If you have already left your course, the Back on Course service could assist. It is an impartial advice and guidance service, offering support in returning to education or exploring other positive possibilities.
