Closing date
The closing date for UCAS applications for 2008 entry is 15
January 2008, but applications received after this date will still
be considered.
For all full-time Higher Education
courses at universities and colleges in the UK, students must apply
online at www.ucas.com For all applicants, there
are full instructions at www.ucas.com to make it as easy as
possible for you to fill in your online application, plus help text
where appropriate. UCAS also has a comprehensive guide called
Applying Online, which can be downloaded from www.ucas.com The specific entry
criteria for each course are revised each year. Please check on the
website for the latest information.
On your form, you may choose to apply for up to five
full-time undergraduate courses. The institutions to which you
apply will consider your application entirely on its merits, and
will not know what course choices you have made at other
universities. Applications should reach UCAS between 1 September
2007 and 15 January 2008. Late applications will be considered but
applying late may reduce your chances of being accepted.
Applications received after 30 June 2008 will go into the clearing
scheme operating in late summer 2008.
Applying from outside the UK or EU
If you are applying from outside the UK or EU, you can apply
at any time between September 2007 and 30 June 2008 unless you are
applying for a Route B Art and Design course (see below). Please
remember that most people apply well before 30 June and we cannot
guarantee to consider applications received after 15 January,
particularly if you are applying for a very popular course. You
should also remember to leave enough time to make arrangements for
immigration, travel and accommodation.
