In my opinion, university is not only
about being in the classroom, but also
about ‘learning by living’, especially when it comes to
postgraduate study for a student from abroad. A key element is
breathing the international atmosphere, working with people from
different cultures, and learning how to cope with challenges on
your own.
These ideas drove me to Westminster’s
corridors, along with its central location in the capital of the UK
and at the financial heart of Europe, its welcoming atmosphere for
international students, and its high-quality education
well-recognised worldwide.
What Westminster offered did not disappoint
me in any of these initial desires, but rather they allowed me
to further pursue my objectives in my personal and professional
life: I am now working at the European Commission Delegation in
Turkey, a job that all the graduates of international relations
would dream of. It not only gives the pleasure of assisting one’s
own country in its historical journey, but also provides personal
and financial satisfaction to live a happy life.
Certainly, what I gained during
my time at Westminster in terms of knowledge, training, experience
and self-confidence contributed a lot to my later achievements, not
to mention the good time that I had during my stay in London."
