in Professional Learning from the Workplace
Calling all students...

final year or perhaps you are a postgraduate, and haven’t got a
clue of what you want to do next in terms of career. I mean, you

got the information packs, and even managed to fill your bags with

read on!
The Centre for Excellence in Professional
Learning from the Workplace (CEPLW) could be a way out of your
worries and a step towards developing your professional learning
from the workplace. So what do we mean by professional learning
from the workplace?
‘Professional Learning from the workplace’
(PLW) has been described as encompassing “learning for work,
learning at work and learning through work” (Brennan & Little,
1996). It prepares students for professional life using the
knowledge, skills and attributes typically acquired in the
workplace. It is also a key part of Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) for established professionals.
