What is the Enterprise Academy?

 

A Career Development Centre initiative to support students in developing their interest in enterprise and entrepreneurship.

 

The Enterprise Academy aims:

 

  • To equip students and graduates with the skills they need to develop an enterprising idea.
  • To provide them with impartial information and advice to take the first step towards converting their ideas into a tangible outcome.

 

Who is it for?

 

The Enterprise Academy is aimed at all students interested in enterprise and entrepreneurship.

 

  • You may be interested in setting up a business on your own, or in partnership with others

OR

  • You may be interested in succeeding as an intrapreneur within a large corporation, helping to develop a new area of business.

 

How can we support you?

 

  • Impartial advice from University staff and entrepreneurs
  • Referrals to resources beyond the University
  • Preparatory Workshops and inspirational events to raise awareness and develop skills
  • Networking hub to meet like-minded individuals and collaborate for mutual benefit
