- Employment Services at Papworth provide a
range of work opportunities for disabled people through:
- Supported Placement Schemes
- Job Coaching (training and advice in
job search skills, assessment of skills and experience in relation
to the labour market)
- Work preparation
- Work placements
- Job tasters
- Training and advice
They mainly provide services for people with
physical and/or learning disabilities. Based in Cambridge
with centres in East Anglia, the Trust does take national
referrals.

Leadership Recruitment is
a career development programme for disabled people of graduate
calibre providing the first step into a chosen career. Working with
leading employers from across the private, public and voluntary
sectors, Leadership Recruitment provides a pool of pre-screened
graduate-level candidates selected on the basis of talent not
disability. Entry into the programme is highly competitive.
Partner firms take an active part in the selection process
and will employ them directly or sponsor the successful candidates
on either two six-month or a one-year placement

Scope's Employment Service supports people in gaining and
sustaining meaningful employment in large corporations, public
sector bodies and local employers. The service is available,
throughout the country, to all disabled people, not just those with
cerebral palsy
- General employment advice including information about (or
referral to) training opportunities; local providers of employment
support services; and sources of funding for equipment and
workplace adaptations.
- Working with Jobcentre Plus provide Workstep
service (financial and practical support to potential recruits and
employers) and Work Preparation.
- Leadership recruitment (specifically for
graduates)

types of disabilities break down the barriers to finding
employment. It operates throughout the UK through a network of
Regional Centres. Contact the head office to find your nearest
centre. Services include access to internships and how to
apply to them; workshops on preparing CVs; job applications;
interview skills; advice on obtaining aids and equipment.
