A very wide variety of religions is practised both within the UK and by students at the University of Westminster. For some students observing certain faiths might appear to directly conflict with everyday work practices. This might restrict their career choices if they feel employers will not be sympathetic to their beliefs. Fortunately, legislation has recently been introduced that recognises the rights of individuals to practise their faiths within employment.

These pages aim to explore the very specific issues students and graduates with religious beliefs and faith systems will face in developing their career and has been designed to help you improve your career planning, market yourself more effectively, tackle issues around disclosing your beliefs, identify supportive employers and handle possible discrimination.
