Application Procedures for Visiting Exchange
Students
- Students must be recommended by their home
universities and applications should include all the requested
documentation.
- Applicants are expected to have a high level of proficiency in
English to pursue studies.
- Agreements between the University of Westminster and its
partners are normally school or subject specific. Please
ensure that you are applying for the correct subjects and
at the correct level.
Applications will be rejected from:
- Students studying at an institition where no
exchange agreement exists, i.e Socrates Freemovers. Why
not apply to the Study Abroad Programme instead?
- Students applying to study subjects not covered by
the exchange agreement.

How to apply?
- Download the
Application Form or visit the International Exchange / Erasmus
office at your home institution, who should have copies of all of
the relevant information.
- Read the Application Instructions carefully.
- Print the form.
- Complete all the necessary sections.
- The application must be signed and approved by
your home institution (the sending institution).
- Send the signed and completed Form to:

Important Information
- All students applying for practial design courses should submit
a portfolio of work
in slide or photo format.
- Exchange students requiring a student visa will receive a Letter of Invitation
once the application has been approved and processed. Students not
requiring a visa will not receive notification that their
application has been received, except in cases where important
information is missing or where a problem occurs.
- Orientation
information will normally be emailed to all students approximately
6 weeks prior to the start of the semester.
